Women's Sport Leadership Academy (WSLA) - University of Chichester (UK)

The NOC Sri Lanka is pleased to inform that the International Olympic Committee is planning to conduct a Women’s Sport Leadership Academy (WSLA) led by the University of Chichester (UK), and delivered in partnership with Leading Edge.
The 2024 WSLA residential week will take place from Sunday 8th to Friday 13th September 2024 in Bishop Otter Campus, University of Chichester (UK).
The NOC Sri Lanka deadline for IOC – OS support is Tuesday, 22nd of February 2024.
Applicants who are willing to participate may send their CV together with following documents on or before 1600 hrs on 22nd February 2024 by email to natolcom@slt.lk or by post to “Secretary General, National Olympic Committee of Sri Lanka, ‘Olympic House’, 100/9F, Independence Avenue, Colombo 07”
1. Curriculum Vitae with two references
2. Motivation Letter from the candidate including expected outcome upon the completion of workshop (in 150 - 200 words)
3. Copy of the Passport
Qualifications:
1. Followed Sport Administrators Course / Advanced Sports Management Course conduct by NOC Sri Lanka
2. Bachelor’s Degree in Sport Management or Master Degree in Sport Management or equivalent
3. Able to speak in English
Please be informed that:
• the Olympic Values Training programme from Olympic Solidarity will offer a limited number of scholarships for the programme covering tuition fees. On a case-by-case basis, some scholars may also benefit from an additional grant aimed at helping to offset expenses for air tickets. Priority will be given to the NOCs deemed to have the greatest needs.
• The NOC Sri Lanka will recommend only ONE Candidate for the IOC – OS scholarship subject to the acceptance by the IOC – OS.
