Women's Day Competition 2022

The National Olympic Committee of Sri Lanka once again is ready to celebrate the women of the world and gender equality. Taking the cue of this programme forward is the Women’s Committee of the NOC Sri Lanka and keeping in line with the United Nation’s theme for International Women’s Day, 8 March 2022 of “Gender equality today for a sustainable tomorrow.” We, NOC Sri Lanka have developed our theme as “If he can, she can” in a bid to elaborate our line of thinking.

Working on these lines, we invite you to come up with your own tagline with narration to back your thoughts and the elaboration should be in 250 words. The competition will be held in two categories under 18 years and over 18 years old. And the medium of the competition can be in English or Sinhala or Tamil. The first three winners of each category will be richly rewarded by our sponsors. The judges’ decision will be final and no appeal will be entertained.
