The Boys’ Medley Relay Team stormed to a sensational silver in athletics, while young jumper Dilni Nethsala leaped to a personal best to claim bronze in the Girls’ Triple Jump Final.

The Boys’ Medley Relay team of Bingumina Adithya, Chamindu Sathsara, Nirudaka Vishal, and Shanuka Costa (with Chamith Loshana as reserve) produced a stunning performance, clocking a personal best of 1 minute 52.82 seconds to secure the silver medal. Meanwhile, in basketball, both Sri Lanka’s Boys’ and Girls’ 3x3 teams competed valiantly in their final pool-stage encounters. The boys, comprising Rasindu Nimsara, Vijan Nethmika, Himaru Tissera, and Aaron Gerald, lost narrowly to Saudi Arabia 17–16 before facing a close defeat to Kazakhstan 20–19 in Pool D. The girls’ team of Sithuki Sihansa, Binuthi Jayasinghe, Tinara Perera, and Pramuditha Chandrasekara fell to Indonesia 17–11 and to Thailand 18–13 in Pool B but advanced to the quarterfinals after placing fourth in their group.
