The International Day of the Girl Child, commemorated on 11 October, stresses the importance of addressing the unique challenges faced by girls worldwide and promoting their empowerment. By focusing on creating safe and positive environments for girls in Sport for All, we align with the objectives of this important day. Ensuring that girls can conveniently participate in sports is a crucial step toward empowering the next generation of women leaders.
This webinar will bring together leading organizations, coaches, and advocates to explore innovative actions for creating safe, supportive, and empowering spaces and environments for girls in sports. Through a dynamic discussion, we’ll highlight key actions taken by TAFISA, in partnership with Nike, to position coaches as vital allies in fostering positive and inclusive experiences for girls in sport.
Participants will gain valuable insights into the tangible steps organizations are taking to break down barriers and empower girls to thrive in sport and the integral role of coaches in the process. They will learn from real-world experiences and discover how coaching and sports environments can be transformed to ensure safety, promote confidence, and encourage greater participation among girls.
Whether a coach, educator, sports organization or passionate about gender equality in sports, this webinar will provide actionable strategies and fresh perspectives to help create lasting change.
The webinar will be hosted on 16th October from 12:00 to 13:30 (UTC+2/CEST). Save the date and register now to secure your spot!
