Colombo, 11 February 2026 - The National Olympic Committee of Sri Lanka (NOC SL) conducted a Partner Memoranda of Understanding (MoU) signing ceremony on Friday, 06th February 2026 at the Hemasiri Fernando Auditorium, Olympic House.
NOC SL formalized these three key partnerships aimed at strengthening support systems for Team Sri Lanka and enhancing athlete development, branding and fundraising capabilities.
The ceremony underscored NOC SL’s continued commitment to building sustainable, high-impact collaborations with private sector partners to enhance athlete facilitation and long-term development. Three strategic partnerships were formalized, each designed to play a distinct role in elevating Team Sri Lanka’s presence on the global sporting stage.
1. MoU with LOVI Ceylon
An MoU was signed with LOVI Ceylon, appointing the organization as the Official Opening Ceremony Attire Partner of Team Sri Lanka for selected major upcoming Games. The agreement was signed in the presence of Founder/CEO of LOVI Ceylon, Mr. Asanka de Mel.

2. MoU with The Sports Manager LK
NOC SL also signed an MoU with The Sports Manager LK, represented by Co-Founder Mr. Sanjaya Ganlath, appointing the organization as the Official Strategic Fundraising and Marketing Partner of NOC Sri Lanka.
The primary objectives of this partnership include:

Raising funds to support the sporting community activities during the MoU period through diversified funding streams including corporate sponsorships, private sector partnerships and global Sri Lankan community engagement

Establishing a sustainable fundraising and donor engagement framework

Attracting and nurturing long-term private sector partnerships

Enhancing the visibility and recognition of Sri Lanka’s athletes
3. MoU with Carnage
A further MoU was signed with Carnage, represented by Co-Founder Mr. Joel Tillekeratne, appointing the brand as the Official Clothing Partner of Team Sri Lanka for selected major upcoming Games.

All MoUs were signed by the Secretary General of the NOC SL Mr Rifdy Fahmy with the presence of the General Manager of NOC SL Mr. Lal Wickrematunge and the Chairman of the Marketing and Sponsorship Committee of NOC SL, Mr. Dilshan Mohamed. The Marketing and Sponsorship Committee was reestablished by the incumbent President of NOC SL, Mr. Suresh Subramaniam after a long lapse. The committee is focusing on building sustainable partnerships with the private sector to support Sri Lankas sporting community.
