Kyle Abeysinghe in Action Today at the Olympic Waters!

Updated Date: 30th July, 2024

Kyle Abeysinghe, who qualified to compete in the 2024 Olympics with 776 FINA points, dived into the pool today to compete in the men’s 100m freestyle event at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.

He showed great performance, going head to head with top swimmers, but fell short in a tightly contested race. He finished with a commendable time of 51.42, he achieved the  Rank No. 8 in Heat 4.

Despite his incredible effort, unfortunately he did not make it to the semi-finals based on his timing in Heat 4, he finished 54th out of 79 participants.
