We are pleased to share an exciting new opportunity from the Commonwealth Games Federation (CGF) for alumni of the eqUIP programme. As part of its ongoing commitment to capacity building and professional development, the CGF has officially launched a pilot initiative titled "eqUIP NextGen."
About eqUIP NextGen
This new pilot is designed to further develop the professional capabilities of eqUIP alumni by creating meaningful leadership and development roles within the Commonwealth Sport ecosystem.
As part of this initiative, three regional eqUIP Officer roles have been established—including one dedicated to the Asia & Oceania region. Selected individuals will have the opportunity to:
' Work closely with CGF’s Regional Development Managers
' Support Commonwealth Games Association (CGA) development
' Assist in regional activities and
'
Contribute to programme implementation across the region

The National Olympic Committee of Sri Lanka (NOC SL) was inaugurated on 8th April 1937 at a meeting of representatives of Athletic, Swimming and Boxing Associations. As resolved on this day, the first meeting of the Ceylon Olympic and Empire Games Association was held on 30th April 1937.
