Chamath Srinika Selected for SportOracle Certificate in Drugs in Sports under IOC Scholarship

Colombo, 23 February 2026 - The National Olympic Committee of Sri Lanka (NOC Sri Lanka) is pleased to announce the selection of its sports professionals for the prestigious SportOracle Certificate in Drugs in Sports, offered under the Olympic Solidarity Scholarship in collaboration with the International Olympic Committee (IOC). This initiative reflects Sri Lanka’s ongoing commitment to promoting clean sport, anti-doping education, and athlete welfare, while strengthening national capacity to uphold integrity and fairness in sports at all levels.
Among the distinguished recipients is Mr. Chamath Srinika, a leading Sports Science and Anti-Doping specialist with extensive experience in sports administration, education, and international event management. Currently serving as Assistant Director at the Sri Lanka Anti-Doping Agency (SLADA), Mr. Srinika coordinates nationwide anti-doping education programs and testing operations.
A certified International Doping Control Officer (IDCO, ITA, 2022), he played a key role at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, overseeing testing operations at venues including Stade de France and Champ de Mars Arena. Mr. Srinika holds a BSc (Special) in Sports Science and Management with First Class Honours from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura and an MSc in Public Health (Epidemiology) from the University of Kelaniya. His expertise spans anti-doping operations, sports science, biomechanics, curriculum development, sports law, and event medical coordination. In addition, he contributes to sports education as a visiting lecturer at several universities.
Through programs like the SportOracle Certificate, NOC Sri Lanka continues to empower its professionals with advanced knowledge and skills, reinforcing its commitment to integrity, transparency, and excellence in sports. This ensures that athletes across the nation compete in a fair, safe, and ethically guided environment.
