CALL FOR APPLICATIONS: OCA-AMMA Referees & Coaches Development Program - Bahrain 2025

The National Olympic Committee of Sri Lanka is pleased to announce the call for applications for the 1st Olympic Council of Asia – Asian Mixed Martial Arts Association (OCA-AMMA) Referees and Coaches Development Program, taking place from 25 to 27 August 2025 in Manama, Kingdom of Bahrain.
This prestigious program is part of the OCA Continental Programme’s Special Projects and is organised in collaboration with Olympic Solidarity, the Bahrain Olympic Committee, and the Asian Mixed Martial Arts Association.
Program Highlights:
' Fully funded by OCA-AMMA (economy-class airfare + full-board accommodation)
' Hosted at Crowne Plaza Manama, Bahrain
' Targeted at experienced MMA coaches and referees
' Aimed at enhancing technical expertise and knowledge-sharing across Asia
' All sessions will be conducted in English

Participation Criteria
a. For Coaches
' Must have actively coached MMA for the past 2 years
' Recognised as role models within their national community
' Demonstrate leadership, integrity, and commitment to fair play
'
Fluent in spoken and written English
b. For Referees
' Must have officiated in international MMA competitions in the past 2 years
' (Experience in international Ju-Jitsu or Wrestling may be accepted)
' Must possess strong ethical standards, confidence, and good physical fitness
'
Fluent in spoken and written English
Note: Each NF may nominate up to Two Coaches and Two Referees, with at least one female participant required. Registrations comprising four male participants will not be accepted.
Deadline to Apply to NOC Sri Lanka: Monday, 4 August 2025
Interested and eligible individuals are invited to submit their detailed CV and a brief motivation statement (max 300 words) to games@olympic.lk or by post/hand, address it to the Secretary General, Sri Lanka Olympic House, 100/9F Independence Ave., Colombo 7., with the subject: “Application – OCA-AMMA Development Program 2025”.
Shortlisted applicants will be contacted for further steps prior to final registration through the OCA portal.
