CALL FOR APPLICATIONS: IOC Certificate in Drugs in Sport (2026 Intake)

The National Olympic Committee of Sri Lanka is pleased to announce that applications are now open for the IOC Certificate in Drugs in Sport, offered by Sportsoracle, for the 2026 intake (Graduating Class of 2027). Eligible applicants will have the opportunity to be considered for nomination to the International Olympic Committee – Olympic Solidarity (IOC–OS) for scholarship support.

19 January 2026 – Application deadline to NOC Sri Lanka (Call for Appplications is CLOSED)
' 1 February 2026 – Application deadline to the Programme Organisers
' 1 March 2026 – Commencement of Programme
' September 2026 – Written Examination

Autumn 2027 – Graduation

Nomination & Scholarship Information
' NOC Sri Lanka will recommend only one candidate to the IOC–OS for scholarship consideration through an internal selection process.

Please note that the scholarship is subject to the acceptance of the IOC – OS. If not the candidate has to bear the expenses related to the programme

Interested candidates (Sri Lankan citizens only) may submit following documents;
' Curriculum Vitae (CV)
' Motivation Letter
' Copy of Passport
' Educational Certificates (relevant academic and professional qualifications)
' Details of previous involvement in anti-doping, sports medicine, or athlete support services
' Proof of English proficiency (if available)
' Letter of Recommendation
' Brief Proposal on the applicant’s future contribution to the NOC or sporting community

Applicants may submit their applications via email to education@olympic.lk or hand-delivered before 4.00 p.m. on the deadline (19 January 2026) to the Sri Lanka Olympic House, 100/9F, Independence Avenue, Colombo 07.

Please note that all decisions made by the Education Committee of NOC Sri Lanka are final, and no appeals will be entertained.
