Call for Applications: International Coaching Course (ICC) - Budapest 2025

We are pleased to inform you that the Hungarian University of Sports Science (HUSS), in collaboration with the International Olympic Committee (IOC) and supported by Olympic Solidarity (OS), is now calling for applications for the International Coaching Course (ICC), scheduled to take place in Budapest from October 1 to November 21, 2025.

This intensive program includes 120 hours of theory and 100 hours of practical sessions, and is offered in the following Olympic sports disciplines for Fall 2025:

    ' Basketball

    ' Football (Soccer)

    ' General Conditioning

    ' Judo

    ' Water Polo

    ' Wrestling

    ' Handball

    ' Swimming

Important Dates

    ' NOC Sri Lanka’s Deadline to Apply: 3.00 p.m. on 23 July 2025

    ' Program Start Date: October 1, 2025

    ' Program End Date: November 21, 2025

    ' Interviews: Candidates must be physically present. Dates to be announced post deadline.

Entry Qualification

    ' G.C.E. A/Ls or Secondary Education (or higher)

    ' Supporting documents must be in English, or accompanied by official English translations and verified copies of originals.

    ' Original documents must be presented upon arrival at the university.

Language Requirement

Proficiency in English, with supporting certification.

Other Required Documents

    ' Scanned copy of valid passport

    ' G.C.E. A/Ls and/or final exam results

    ' Proof of coaching and/or sport experience in an Olympic discipline

    ' Completed medical certificate (Download here)

    ' Curriculum Vitae (CV)

    ' Recommendation letter from the respective National Federation (Signed by the President, Secretary General, or both)

The NOC Sri Lanka may recommend only one male and one female nominee through a selection process to the IOC-OS for financial support. Please note that the scholarship is subject to IOC-OS approval. Additional coaches may apply through National Federations or self-fund their participation at a reduced tuition fee.

Interested candidates (only Sri Lankan citizens) can submit all required documents on or before 3.00 p.m. on 23 July 2025 to education@olympic.lk or by post to: "The Secretary General, Sri Lanka Olympic House, 100/9F, Independence Avenue, Colombo 07, Sri Lanka."

NOTE: Late submissions will not be considered for the selection process.
