' Workshop for 20 shortlisted applicants (10 male and 10 female) conducted by an international facilitator on 7 September 2025, ahead of the Asian Games Fun Run.
' Topics of the workshop will be aimed at promoting sports journalism and Asian Games, with the main objective of promoting Asian Games History.
' Following the workshop, NOC Sri Lanka will select 6 winners (3 male and 3 female) based on performance.
'
The winners will be given exciting prizes and will also stand a chance to be nominated from the South Asian Region to participate in the Asian Games Youth Reporter Project and join the OCA Reporting Team at the Aichi-Nagoya 2026 Asian Games.
' Applicants must be of Sri Lankan citizenship
' Age group: 16 – 35 years
' Strong interest in sports journalism, media, and reporting
' Effective English communication skills (spoken and written)

' A detailed Curriculum Vitae
' A covering letter outlining interest and motivation
' A comprehensive portfolio demonstrating reporting/journalism skills
The National Olympic Committee of Sri Lanka (NOC SL) was inaugurated on 8th April 1937 at a meeting of representatives of Athletic, Swimming and Boxing Associations. As resolved on this day, the first meeting of the Ceylon Olympic and Empire Games Association was held on 30th April 1937.
