Call for Application for the Post of CDM for the 9th Asian Winter Games, Harbin 2025

The NOC Sri Lanka wishes to inform you that the 9th Asian Winter Games Harbin 2025 will be held in China from 4 to 14 February 2025. The deadline to submit the applications is 14 October 2024. Accordingly, suitable applicants who meet the following attributes / criteria for the post of Chef de Mission are encouraged to send their application to the NOC Sri Lanka before the deadline.

 

Requirements:

1. EB members, Senior Exco members, ExCo members & Committee Members, Olympic Sport NF Officials, other NF Members and professionals in other organizations also can apply for this position.

2. Applicants should have at least served in the capacity as Chef de Mission and or Deputy Chef de Mission in a major Game (i.e. SAG / Youth Olympics / Commonwealth Youth Games etc.)

3. Applicants who have distinguished track record at the NOC Sri Lanka and who has contributed for the Olympic Movement

4. Applicants should have completed the Sport Administrators Course and/or the Advanced Sport Management Course conducted by the NOC Sri Lanka

5. Applicant should be able to spend a considerable time period at the NOC Sri Lanka office for pre-games preparations to ensure Games Organising Committee requirements are met

6. Good track record in the National Federation

7. Outgoing personality with good communication skills

8. Team player with a good record at the NOC Sri Lanka

9. Computer Literacy is a must

10. Fluency in English language

11. Knowing the host country language will be beneficial

12.  Winter sports experience will be considered as an added qualification.
