The MEMOS (Executive Masters in Sport Organisation Management) mission is to help professionals working in national or international sports bodies to develop the knowledge required in order to better manage their organisations.
The National Olympic Committee (NOC) of Sri Lanka is pleased to announce that applications are open for the Executive Masters in Sport Organisations Management (MEMOS XXVII).
This prestigious international programme, which will run from August 2025 to September 2026, is designed to help professionals working in national or international sports bodies develop the knowledge required to better manage their organisations.
Each course focuses on various elements of sports management, including strategic management and governance, and leadership and human resource management. Additionally, a fundamental part of the course focuses on creating a project that addresses management and performance enhancement in a specific aspect of the student’s sporting environment, including any current challenges their sports system faces.
Candidate Requirements
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
' Be actively contributing to the work of a National Federation or any National Sports-related institution
' Demonstrate significant experience in management in a sport organisation.
' Hold a relevant university degree or equivalent professional experience.
'
Be endorsed by National Federation or NOC Sri Lanka, which must commit to supporting the applicant's participation.
Note: Candidates and their National Federations are strongly encouraged to identify and agree on a suitable MEMOS project before submitting the application.

' Copy of a valid ID card or passport
' Endorsement form completed by the candidate’s National Federation or NOC Sri Lanka
Applications should be sent to the President, Sri Lanka Olympic House, 100/9F Independence Avenue, Colombo 07 or at education@olympic.lk on or before 4.00 p.m. on Thursday, May 22, 2025. Applicants should be prepared to attend an interview on Friday, May 23, 2025 at 1000 at Sri Lanka Olympic House.
