The National Olympic Committee (NOC) of Sri Lanka is pleased to announce that applications are open for the Master’s Degree in Olympic Studies, Education, and Event Management 2026-2027 by the Department of Sports Organization and Management (in Sparta-Greece) of the University of Peloponnese in collaboration with the International Olympic Academy.
The Olympic Solidarity is pleased to offer a limited number of scholarships for this prestigious postgraduate programme, which is designed for NOC and NOA staff who wish to strengthen their expertise in Olympic education, event organization, and management.
Programme Details
' Start: September 2026
' Location: Ancient Olympia & Sparta, Greece
' Duration: 3 semesters (2 on-site semesters + thesis semester)
' Language: English
'
Scholarship covers: Tuition fees, full board and lodging at the IOA premises (travel may be supported in exceptional cases)
Candidate Requirements
Applicants must:
' Be actively contributing to the work of a National Olympic Committee (NOC) or National Olympic Academy (NOA)
' Demonstrate relevant professional experience in Olympic education or sports event management
' Hold a relevant university degree or equivalent professional experience
'
Be endorsed by their NOC, which must commit to supporting the applicant’s participation
Submission
Applications must include:
' Proof of application submitted to the University/IOA programme (screenshot, PDF confirmation, or email acknowledgment). Please note that admission is handled separately by the University.
' Motivation letter
' Resume/CV
' Copy of degree(s) or proof of equivalent professional experience
' Copy of a valid ID card or passport
'
Endorsement form completed by the candidate’s NOC

(Delayed applications will NOT be considered.)
