Athlete Career Transition Course in Sport Ethics and Integrity

The ACTSI (Athlete Career Transition Course in Sport Ethics and Integrity) 2026 is a unique educational programme designed for (former) Olympic athletes who wish to expand their knowledge and understanding of ethics and integrity in sport. Supported by IOC Olympic Solidarity, this 4-week course provides an in-depth exploration of key topics such as anti-doping, equality, inclusion, diversity, good governance, safe sport, sport integrity, and more.
 
 
The ACTSI Summer Course 2026 will take place from 17 August to 11 September 2026. The first week will be delivered online, followed by three weeks of in-person sessions at the Faculty of Movement & Rehabilitation Sciences at KU Leuven, Belgium.
 
 
Applications are now open. The deadline for application is 11 March 2026.
 
 
Eligible Olympians should have:

    ' Competed in at least one Olympic Games

    ' A high school graduation certificate or higher

    ' A good level of English

 
Only one participant per National Olympic Committee (NOC) will be selected, with a maximum of 20 participants. Course fees, accommodation, and meals in Leuven are covered by Olympic Solidarity. Applicants will be responsible for travel costs to and from Leuven, which can be reimbursed by Olympic Solidarity. Endorsement from the respective National Olympic Committee is a mandatory requirement.

The National Olympic Committee of Sri Lanka (NOC SL) was inaugurated on 8th April 1937 at a meeting of representatives of Athletic, Swimming and Boxing Associations. As resolved on this day, the first meeting of the Ceylon Olympic and Empire Games Association was held on 30th April 1937.
